I want to put a new cat on for my ZE and I'm having trouble finding a 2.5 inch cat that is a bolt on and is factory enough that I can still pass a clean air check. The MX3 cat has three bolts at the front and two at the back with the back being slightly canted. Anyone found a 2.5 inch cat that bolts up. Thanks Make and part number and even place to order would be great.

Ya if you Oil Sands Basta*rds weren't producing so much CO we wouldn't have to. This is all your fault. If it wasn't for your West Edmonton Mall we wouldn't have any reason to visit you so there. Anyway you got greasey cows too.

Oil sands or not, we never have "smog days." Our air is clean as are our streets. People are friendly and the sports cars have no cats. I hate how people trash the oil industry out here. So what? We are the richest province in Canada. Yet we share our wealth, allow most of our oil sands machinery production to take place out east. Just face it. There is more good than bad with the sands. Shall we try to think what oil would be /barrel without the sands?

From what I can remember... there have been smog warnings long b4 we even started to work the sands.

Oh, and we are building Canada's largest mall just outside Calgary.. near Balzac. *yes, it's really called that* Can't wait to see you when it opens!

Back on topic.... get a universal cat and spend 20bucks to get it welded into your exhaust system.

As with all western province Hot Shots, all talk and still no P/N. Universal cat my eye. I axed for a bolt on one, I have enough welding to do as it is. Anyway, I still think you got greasey cows.

you are aware that you will pay 3x what it's worth just because it bolts on. BTW.. I doubt there is one out there. If you have lots of welding to do.. what is 2 more welds?

And Alberta Beef is the best in the world.

So much hate and no direction.

I just found your post in the how to clean the engine bay thread.....

"High pressure steam and some ozone/brain cell depleting solvent. Carbontetracloride works best. I say the environment needs to learn to take care of itself." :confused2:

You may no longer speak of the oil sands or anything of the sort.

Yes cats a plenty. We have clean air rules like that of California so I want to be sure a cat I order will be the same standard as in Canada. If not i won't pass. I'm running a ZE so I need all the help I can get.
EDIT: Ok found a local guy who said he can hook me up with a good cat that will burn all 4 gases and he'll weld on flanges so it'll be a direct bolt on. I'm off to the Clean air check. Wish me luck Cowboy from Alberta.
