You asked for a opinion. that is what I think.

Anyways, I have seen a few of these installed and they are not always flush, they leak water into the door area as well as I have heard/seen. Not sure if it is those exact mirrors, but they were m3 mirrors non the less

Not to be harsh, but your subject and question are completely different. Your subject asks for opinions, which solo_ryder gave, but your question is asking if anyone had gotten them before and if they fit/looked alright.

Just pointing that out is all.

zzzoom seems to be a sensitive member... IMO(no pun intended), an opinion is just an opinion, to be considered. Thats all. Nothing to get in a fight about.

I think those mirrors look ok. I think the blue light is illegal, but I'm sure that can be modified. I read somewhere if we didn't have mirrors we could all gain something like 2MPG? The holes in those might help a bit.

zzzoom, be the pioneer and see how they fit for the rest of us :) I'm sure sillicone could fix any fit problem

i'm not a "sensitive" member - i just want what i asked for and i did not ask for a general opinon - yes my subject title states m3 mirrors opinions - but thats just the same as if i said transmission problem or transmission opinion - its whats in the body of the thread that is important because that's where the details are...and i really dont care what anyone thinks anyway - its not their car - they dont have to drive it and they shouldnt be saying s--- anyway - i've seen some real doozie's, but hold my tongue - because its not my business to how someone wants their ride to look...because i dont have to drive it...and your right ryan - the CoD would be reduced if we didnt have mirrors or wiper blades or a multitude of things on any car - mazda is one of the few designers who actually take these things into account - such as a our door handles being inset and the smooth body lines and egg-shaped body.

well - i went ahead and ordered them -so we'll see how they turn out, at least they are powered. a guy at work has the the manual ones on his cobalt and they are angled upwards because of the angle of his door - its looks goofy, so i hope i dont have the same problem - but if so - i'll find a way to fix it. plus his are the CF ones - which i dont like because its just a painted CF design and not real CF. the hole in the mount area i suspect wont make much difference in the drag versus the stock - the stock ones are pretty aerodynamic as it is...i just like the styling better...especially the blinker - which will only be blue during a show or a meet.

I'm sure they will show up in your worklog?

I'll definately come check them out :)

I bought those off a member here, and he sent pics of them on. They looked good, and his fit like stock, and he said they didn't leak at all. They look slightly less aerodynamic, but not enough to make a difference in MPG. I smoothed mine out, so they're less angular, so they fit the style better. I'll put up pics on my worklog in a few weeks. I forgot to ask what color my blinkers are, but if they're blue, I'll change them.

You asked how they look, and Solo answered, and it seems you got offended. I've seen many times that this has happened, exactly. I think I did it a long time ago, too.

Flashing blue lights on a non-snowplow vehicle is illegal in the province of Ontario. However, I believe zoom is in Dallas, Texas...
