so, after figuring out how to launch the car with minimal wheel spin (1200-1500 rpm) acting like coming from a stop sign i ran tons of 14.1 q's at 98-99 and fastest of an 14.084 at 99 and 2.194 60' time. tires were falken rt 615's 235/40/17 aired to bout 26-28 lbs. still open diff

i have 17x7 sport max 618 rims with a offset of 38 or 42mm with an 1/8 inch spacer on all 4. rears would have cleared but just as a precaution used them, fronts are very close no rubbing lock to lock even during racing conditions.

by deleting vris the intake acts like a single plane manifold therefore increasing velocity in higher rpm but lose a little bit of torquein the lower rpm thats a shame when at the strip when u cant launch a car like a honda at 9500 rpm just to turn the tires a little. i think when i do a dyno and also by my quarter mile times running a stock intake that my mods have been effective even though others said it doesnt work that way or u cant do that. that means they dont understand or havent tried.

My guess is that it just narrows the powerband, and causes less restriction, so your peak power will be a little more. Just like how Leo run individual Hyabusa TBs,for the same purpose.

hopefully i can get mine running that good or better once i get the eprom chip!
