Air Conditioning - Upgrading

I've inherited an air conditioning condenser (small rad in front of engine rad) and other then the compressor that I have found at an auto wreaker, my questions are the following:

What other parts are needed to install an air condioning system on a 93GS that didn't have one to begin with?

I know there will be a wiring loom to the switch in the interior but what else? Duct work I guess too or is it already there but not used if you didn't order the air with the car?

My Dad says no way - not worth it, as a used compressor may need new seals. He says to sell the evaporator and I say the black interior to my car makes it unlivable in the summers!!

He thinks a different pulley and bracket is needed too. I think he doesn't want to do the work! :)

Is this a bad idea to retrofit air?

It's alot of work, but so is most of what people have done to their MX-3s.
I drove 200 miles through 100 degrees in Texas, with humidity, and even turned on the heater to keep the engine cool... The car is black/ black. It sucked, but I'm okay. I did this trip many times. Otherwise, I drove around in this weather with the sunroof open, and wasn't terribly uncomfortable. I never even got my A/C fixed, because I didn't think it was worth it, and all I needed to do was recharge it.

i might actually still have the A/C lines and everything from pulling it all from my GS let me know if you might be interested. do you not even have the part that goes behind the dash? if not you'll have to pull your dash and replace that part also which i happen to have that part also if you want
