1997 MX-3 1.6 DOHC --> 1991 BP DOHC

Hi guys,

I'm planning to swap my 1997 B6DE DOHC to a 1991 BP from a 1991 323/Familia/Protege.

Can you give me any hints about the wiring harness?
I've got the BP-harness and the BP-ecu.
Do I have to splice cables in the harness?

Thanks for your answers! :)
Tom

EDIT:
Another questions is: Does the exhaust manifold of the BP fits my B6-catalyst?

EDIT2:
After the swap I will use the F-tranny with B6 flywheel and clutch. So I have an electronic speedo after the swap.

EDIT3:
Are the pulleys of B6DE and BP are interchangeable?

The reason that you're using the BP harness is so that you don't have to do any splicing. Given that the BP harness and ecu model and year range matches that of the BP engine.

Since the BP is a bit larger of an engine, the exhaust manifold will sit in a slightly different spot. Therefore, there will need to be a very minor exhaust modification done to get it to line up with the catalytic converter.

Are you using the F-series tranny just to have an electronic speedo? The G-series is a much more rugged and performance oriented tranny.

I don't have to do any splicing when I use the BP-engine, BP-engine-harness and BP-ECU?
Also no splicing at the dashboard-plugs or at the electronic heating-control?
