The hose between the MAF meter, and throttle body is cracked. What kind of problems would this cause? Would some black electrical tape work until I get it fixed properly? Please help me.

Replace it ASAP. If you dont and the boot rips all the way your car will stop. I tried silicone and it worked for a lil. Just make sure it is sensor safe silicone. Replace it in a hurry man.
quote:
Originally posted by VizualXTC:
The hose between the MAF meter, and throttle body is cracked. Yea, it would die whenever I would stopped at a light, or slowed down. I put elevtrical tape on it, and it's fixed for the time being. How much to get one from Mazda?

I duct-taped mine! and you know what? I run 13's with it! If you can't afford to change it, just tape it really well!
