but let me tell u it was a pain in the a--
did it just before the first snowfall too
first of all if any of u guys r going to attempt it know that there is sum custom work involved
especially with the floor bracket, side brackets and a bracket that needs to be cut to let the speedometer wire through where the gauges go
i had no troubles with the steering column tho it bolted right in as well as the 3 bolts under the windshield
also there is alot of rewiring that needs to be done
there r two main connectors by the fuse box that u have to rewire
if any of u need any help jus let me no

here r a couple pictures i took with my cell phone.. not the best quality n cars still kinda dirty cuz i havent had a chance to clean it yet

Wow does that ever look good! I thought there was too much white before, the way you had the entire dash painted, but now it looks SO much better, flows better too. The style of the steering wheel matches the style of the dash now haha..

Well done sir!

did you use the wiring harness from the 92 dash or did you swap over the 94 harness???

I was thinking you used the 92 since you did not swap over the button HVAC panel....

button hvac?
this one came with the slider hvac version
i used the 94 harness that was attached to the dash
all i did was cut the two main connectors by the fuse box from the 94 harness (blue and white ones)
and swapped them for the 93 ones.. its sumthin like 10 wires but its all colour coded.

thanks btw
i like it way better now
it flows a lot better ..its all curvy and nice looking :)
i shouldve done this a long time ago!

Same as me... my 93 was the slider. Buddy of mine has a 94 rs that has the slider also.. but I also have seen button type in a 94 gsze... it was a custom dash so I dont know if the person changed it... I know all 95's that I have see have the button type...

I didn't have a lot of the problems you expressed with your swap .I also didnt have to do a lot of the things you did . The only real problem I had is I had to trim the dash for the large support on the passenger side dash , and I had to custom fit my HVAC

That is an amazing job man, seriously the white looks amazing. Very nice look, especially if it matches the exterior! I have to start posting some pics by starting a work log on my GS. ANyways, great job!
