What other shift knobs fit the threads in the mx-3?

I'm just curious if any other shift knobs fit from different mazdas or other makes onto the stock threads of the mx-3 shifter. I was thinking probably other mazdas like the miata or 626 maybe even the rx-7 but I wasn't sure. I like the mazdaspeed protege shift knob...
Has anybody gotten any out of the junkyards that work? I'm not talking about aftermarket shift knobs but OEM from different cars...
Any help is appreciated!

That is what I went with, the mazdaspeed protege shift knob. I have one on my mx-3 and my 1983 rx-7, and my brother runs one on his 89 rx-7. It fit fine on the stock mx-3 shifter, and its got a nice weight to it, I really like it and it looks great also. Not sure on any other models though.

i use a 3rd gen rx7 shift nob, its semi eagle style plus its black leather so its nicer, i dont understand why the se didnt come with a leather shift nob already oh well

I have a Mazdaspeed protege knob, it fits right on.
The Rx8 one also fits, as well as Mazda3 and mazda6

i put my old, brown, Ford Laser shift knob on...., for about 2 secs!
but yeah, it did fit
