Aftermarket Front Bumper = No more Re Bar

Just wondering how many people out there have aftermarket bumpers and either had to remove, modify, or got lucky to keep the front reinforcement bar in place.

Im running a Evo5 and it looks like I may have to cut a good portion of the rebar out or remove it completely to get a nice fit.

Im no engineer but if I remove it I think I will need some good welding and pipe bending skills to make my own radiator/engine protection

I have a MP5 front bumper from the first group buy way back...And with my intercooler, I have no re bar. :( But im doing a BPt swap and I want to try mounting the intercooler and running the piping differently to put the rebar back in either whole or modified.

I got the Mazdaspeed replica from Erebuni, and had no trouble at all.
Rebar is still in place, and removing it has never been an option for me.

I used to have an invader front and had to cut the ends of it off so that the re bar didn't poke out the holes of the bumper.
