Short Throw

Post by MazdaNoob123 »

Quick question...
Will a MX6 B&M short shifter fit the Mx-3?
i only ask cause i have the chance to buy a mx6 shifter for $15
I still cant find anywhere in the shop manual where it says there should be a 1in hole in the side of the block. (Blown K8) #6 rod thrown through block.

More than likely it should, same tranny so the way the linkage connects should be the same. Linkage will probably be longer than mx3, but still connect the same. For $15 bucks i would try it, and if it doesnt work i bet you could make it work.

I'm almost 100% that they do. Look at B&M's website for the part number of the MX-6 and MX-3 versions. If the part numbers are the same then the shifter is the same.
