I have a alternator from a 93 ford probe 2.5L 90 amp, according to cookstown auto wreckers it's interchangable with a 1.8L MX3 and since a 1.8L alt will fit on a 1.6L I figure it should work no problem. what should i look out for?
I have a 95 MX3 1.6L manual (money pit so far)

ALTERNATOR INSTALLATION WITHOUT A HITCH
the new ford probe alternator went in without a problem I even managed to wrestle the old alt and the new alt in through the top around the power steering lines by my self, I had to find a longer bolt for the bottom mount but I had one in my shop, and I needed a longer belt but other than that it went well, now charging at 14.56 Volts and it cured the serging problem I had when you push the brakes at idle.
