Alberta MX-West Tuner Month BBQ
When: June 23rd, 2007 after 1:00pm
Where: Cheadle, Alberta (James Gosteli's House)
Notes: Everyone try to bring at least 1 food item for the evening dinner & BYOB.

Well the Tuner Month BBQ is coming up in a few weeks. For those who don't know, it's a day for MX-West members to hang out and work on their MX-3s with the help of other members. Whether it is engine work, body work, cleaning & polishing, or just visiting, you're welcome to come.

I just want to check with everyone on a few things. Firstly, is everyone okay if we just have flame grilled burgers as the main food item. I don't want to do ribs for both Tuner Month and the Kelowna Trip, especially since they are so close together.

Lastly, the after 1:00pm thing is just a guideline. If some of you are doing something to your cars that requires more time... *cough*Jen*... you are more than welcome to come earlier (just give me a heads up).

List of people coming, what they plan on bringing for food & what will be done to their cars:

NAME____________Food_____________________Work being done____
James & Tracy____flame grilled burgers & buns___tuning KLZE and helping others
Jen_____________Potato Salad________________Install Body-Kit & Gauges
Jesse & Jacki____???_________________________Misc items
Darcy__________???_________________________Gauges
Maya___________???_________________________Tuning

Subtle James… I guess I need to have another family thing come up so I can take the day off work… I hope that we can get the kit done that would make me SOOOO happy!!!... well at least fitted then I can get the front painted then it should be easy just to put it back on...

Sounds good, Jen. It should be pretty easy. I would suggest for you to come out a little earlier just so that any fiberglass work I do, has enough time to cure/dry. I would think that the latest version of that kit fits better than the old type. That sucks that you have to take time off work, but they make you work too much anyways.

Jack and I should be able to get out. I dont know where to start with my car, so just put lots of stuff, I hope that I can get the engine in and running before then, so it would be engine work, body work, audio, brakes.... the list goes on, so I guess I will do what I can while I am there

I hope that won't be the case. I hate pissing around with the door wiring. But I guess if you bring everything and really want to do it, I'll see what we can do.

Oh, Darcy & Jen; when you bring your gauges for installation, I have my soldering iron, silver solder, and heat-shrink tubing on hand. So we can make the installation nice and professional (and reliable).

I can bring an assortment of drinks or something. What does everyone want?

Looks like it'll be another kick-a-- day.

Hopefully I don't get any on-call calls so I can chillax with you guys out there. James, do you have an internet connection I can use just in case something comes up?

I'll bring some munchies and stuff for the day.

Yeah, I've got high speed wireless. It's only around 1.5Mbit but it works and is pretty comparable to ADSL. If you have a laptop, you can even plug into the connection in the greatroom.
