I wanted to know what the GS wheels are made out of and if getting them powdercoated would make for a good look, i think it would.
My biggest question though is whether i'm Just being paranoid or not. Cuz i found a good deal on powdercoating and i would hate to pass it up.
And Remember I'm New to this stuff, so please keep the criticism on a constructive level.

well which GS rims are you talking about? The 15" 5 spokes or the "butterfly rims" as I call them but they have the holes all the way around?

The 15 In. Gs 5 Spokes. I was wondering what anybody's opinion would be on Gloss Black Powdercoat for those wheels.

in that case, YES those rims would look sweet in gloss black... you could also do a polished lip really easily too that might look good...

just out of curiousity how much will you be charged per rim including prep and all?

I am thinking about getting my tsw razor's powdercoated gunmetal gray (or something like that) and there is a guy in memphis that does it for $50 a rim...

I Found a Powderoater in my area that has quoted me $125 without prep, and then i found another one that quoted me $150 including prep. So i guess i found one hell of a deal either way.

$125 For all 4 without prep.
$!50 for all 4 with Prep.
As for repairing them, i would tough it out til' it gets too bad and then get them totally redone.
