I am looking for a harmonic balancer for a V6. I have a 92 gs 1.8L. I am also looking for the water pump/power steering tensioner or just the bolt is all i need. If any of you have these give me a price and shipped to 26505.

I already bought one off of ebay, not that one but this one:

With this one my power steering/water pump belt jumps off the back pulley by one groove thing ( 1/8 inch approx) and eventually breaks the belt, so i dont think the after market ones fit correct, has anyone else had this issue with one of these or the obx one on the k8 motor?

I can get a complete 93 626 engine for $350 and swap it out or use the balancer off it till i do swap? is that the best deal to go with is a whole motor?

The one you bought is an underdrive pulley - not a direct replacement aftermarket part......

Underdrive is not a company name....

I think if you use underdrive pulley you have to get different belts - and shave of some metal from the oil pump housing etc - do a search and you will find lot more info than this.

The links on the ford probe forum sound like they would work but i can not get the links to open to show me what to do and what i am looking at. What am i supposed to be shaving off and how much of it? i already have the right size belts, but i just don't know what to shave off. Also the 93 626 balancer will work on my 92 mx-3 gs correct?
