Corksport shipping to Canada

Post by nightfire »

Anyone here had experience with corksport shipping to Canada? I ordered like 2 weeks ago and nothing's arrived yet. They gave me a USPS tracking number but all it says is that the order is being held by Canada post.

Is this normal? How long did it take to get your order?

They seem really busy there....

Takes a while, so it's not a problem, the problem is the customs/brokerage bill you'll get several weeks later...

What did you order exactly. I absolutely hate buying from the states. Duties suck real bad. USPS usually is the way to go, but if you get a expensive item then duties blow... I wanna get GC's really bad, but they are the only ones that sell them that I know of and that I would trust...

Since I've been working in the US, it's been ordering what I can, it's nice cause our dollar is doing well, and shipping within the US is quick and cheap, and since I'm in the US for weeks/months at a time, I can claim upto C$750 (max amout after a week). I got some adjustable suspension for a buddy's Cavy to bring back, but I can't bring it on the plane cause their too big and ehavy for my bag, but i got some H&R's from CorkSport coming in soon, those i should be able to fit and bring back (coming home in a week for a week), but I'll be driving the Mx back down (with an order for some Canadian bacon, lol)

Import taxes suck.

If I buy something that`s over $30 USD (aprox).
Then I get a tax fee of $20 + 25% import tax.
Oh, and shipping comes on top, wich to Norway usually suck bigtime.

My GC`s ended up costing me about $600 including shipping and taxes.

Free trade what? lol..

I ordered pretty much their entire mx-3 catalog. Konis, all their SRD bushings, shortshifter, strut bars, etc.

I expected import taxes/duties anyway. Just hope it actually gets here. :)
