same motors blocks and part interchanges??

what motors and parts off them will work on our v6 models ( k8 stock engines) i have heard about eh probe gt but ebay also had athing up for 96+ escort gt's and 94-97 miatas's both are 1.8L. Does this sound correst? i am trying to find a crack pulley/harmonic balancer for my car and would like to know what i can use as a parts car..

Basically there is no compatibility with the internal parts on the 1.8 v6, no other cars share that motor. The BP's are 1.8L's yes, but they are 4 cyl. When it comes to outside of the motor, many parts can be used like Alternators, disty's, plug wires etc. As for the crank pulley, not to sure but I am guessing that you will want to use the 1.8 one because the crank is not the same IIRC.

Probe, 626, MX-6 2.5L V6 crank pullies will all work on a K8.
