Replacing passenger side window hard?

Post by Juans_93_MX3 »

I need to replace my passenger side window and I have a spare door. Has anyone done this? How hard is it to do?

window and tools...

Post by wvurubberducky »

for mine all i used was a phillips head screw driver ( the 4 sided one) and rolled the track down to where i could see the two screws holding the window on. Unsrew those and clean all the glass out, slide the window into the door-make sure it is one track- line the two screw slots on the window and tighten the bolts in and that should be all there is to it. Mine are power and thats how it ws done, very easy.

Ok you guys are right. I found out the hard way. On my old damaged door with the good window, I just started to cut the the thing that holds the door cover. I cut about half of it off until I realized what I had to do. Really easy, dont know why they would want to charge me $80 for that.... a--holes they wont get a cent from me
