Help with Pulling Codes!

Hi,

I am trying to pull codes (if I have any) from my UK 92 1.8 V6 MX-3,

I am putting a LED between GND & TEN, When i switch ignition to ON, The LED comes on and the VRIS valves click open and closed, so it looks like it is testing, however the LED just stays on!

Does this mean all is ok? or is there something I am missing?

The light has to go between FEN & B+ and TEN & GND has to be jumped.

Yeah I tryed that too and the light stayed on!

I also did the remove Neg from batt, then press brake for 20 secs!

But only did the test I said above, I will try again tomorrow!

k wait did you clear the codes, and then try to pull them? Did you try to pull whilst it was running or when it was off?

I cleared the codes, went for a drive, then tryed the TEN - GND while the car was off!

must have no codes stored. does the CEL even come on?

K, I checked again yesterday,

Wired TEN - GND & LED on FEN - B+

The LED came on for a few seconds then went off and stayed off! I assume this means there are no codes?
