Cooling a bpt

i got told that i have to change my rad with a bpt because of overheating. does anyone with a bpt have any input? its going in a 95 dohc. not sure if the stock rad on my car is single or dual core either.

Not true....

I've been using a stock radiator for yrs on my BPT. In fact, I still have the o.e. radiator since 94.

not true. you can use the stock rad. just keep an eye on it. mine was fine until eventually it had a crack in it. i then replaced it with a stock replacement. no probs yet

I think youd only have to replace your radiator in the smaller cars, such as the Protege or 323, for clearence reasons.
