Performance Headers

Post by Xavier »

I Know all of you are going to say that i'm stupid,
but i can not find aftermarket exhaust headers.
And i wanted to know if anyone could tell me where
they got their headers for their K8's. I need them bad.
I want to get rid of the stock exhaust manifolds, cuz
they're rusted through. :(

I got mine off ebay. Type in 2.5L Headers. You'll have to get them for a Probe/MX-6. but they will fit. The Cat has to be moved back is all.

SSACs sound the best, but PaceSetters will give you more power gain. Just something to think about ;)
KLZE/KL31 ecu/Pacesetter headers/track pipe cat delete/2.5 inch custom exhaust out to fart pipe/warm air intake for now :(/Fidanza 9lbs flywheel/Stage 2 kevlar road racing clutch which still slips/stock wheels/BFG KDW-2 tires. Looks bone stock ;)

I like Hotshot headers.. ceramic coat.. great fit.. only downside is that they are spendy. But.. you get what you pay for ;)

I can also vote for SSautochrome. Got them from ebay for 185 CAD shipped, so it's much cheaper if your from the states. They sound great and feel good, although i didn't drive the car before i got the headers put on. I have no cat, a resonator and dynomax muffler, very quite, no rasp at all.

Didn't take too long..about a week and a half.

As for the muffler info,

Its a

Dynomax
Super Turbo Muffler
17741

I think it might be alittle bit restrictive but its quite.
