yah the guy who works there isn't doing anything wrong. If you wach, he gives the "drive forward signal" ONLY until he's AT the doorway. As soon as his bumper is at the doorway, you can see his hand change, pointing is thumb to the right implying "move right"

He does this faster and faster until he knows it to late for the guy to turn anymore, so he puts both hands up to give the "STOP" signal. and then runs away from fear of being hit.

The attendant had nothing to do with that. With those drive-thru oil change places, it's USUALLY the customer that drives the vehicle into the bay. In all reality, that's most likely the case here as well, but the interw3b totally tweaked the story to place blame on a kid.
