vaccum hose...

i notcied my car was having a rough idle one day..just out of nowhere..and i thought it was bad gas..so i put new in it after draining the tank..and after a week and 2 fill ups it ran rough..so i poped the hodd and started looking around..and on the right side of the motor (looking from front of car) there is a vaccum hose loose..and i have no idea where it goes..any help?? and if the plug is broke whats the cost to fix??

there is a small hose that has no home on the right side of my vehicle, too. it'd sit right below where the air filter box would be. I don't have that box, since i have CAI, though.

As well, my friend just got an MX-3 with the same tiny hose in the same tiny place with no tiny home, right next to the air filter box. THere are a LOT of hoses, however, on the right hand side. Try to be more specific, include some land marks

its that same hose ur talkin about..it bends like it goes under the air filter box..the hose is about the witdth of a regular pen cap..but what would cause my car to run rough, loose horse power, and BAD gas milage??

Have you done a regular tune-up?
You can try the SuperK special
10w30 oil w/ Lucas oil stabalizer, wix oil filter
NGK G-power platinum plugs
Techron or Lucasoil injector cleaner
more injector clener
change air filter

My car is a happy car after that, haha.

Might wanna run your hand through the air assembly hoses, make sure they're not cracked or anything... that caused some bad performance in my friend's MX-3.
Check the timing? the disty cap? the wires? changed the coolant?

Try and do some regular maintenance, if there's still an issue, narrow the symptoms down and be very specific

I think this line probably came from your stock air intake box, that shouldn't cause you to lose any hp, however you might want to check up on the left side top corner of the cam cover, there's a lot of vacuum hoses there I know I've got a leak on mine in there some where, also have your timing checked, it could be off, new plugs, wires if necessary, also check your disty cap and spindle, changed mine out and it ran better....

thanx guys..im going to go out there with my dad today and we are going to look at it and try to find out what the problem is..thanx for all the info it helps us out alot..my dad dont know much about imports so yea..thanx again guys..ill post on what happens..
