Hood latch
Once i pop my hood it will not close. To get it to close i have to take the top spring off the latch, move the locking peice over, put the spring back on open it with my hand then drop the hood. What could make this be such a pain in the a--. Any solutions?

Try loosening the bolts on the latch and raising it a bit... if that doesn't work try to oil the heck out of it. IF that doesn't work you're probably missing something and I couldn't tell you what without looking at my working latch and your non-working latch side-by-side and comparing.
Another guess is look at where the cable's plastic sleeve attaches to the hood latch. The sleeve should physically lock it's self either by slide into a slot or using a clip(I can't remember how the MX3's look because I'm having a brain fart... the important thing is that the sleeve SHOULD attach to the hood latch and not slide freely). If the cable doesn't attach solidly then you need a new/used good cable. Another scenario could be your cable is stretched so far it won't work, which isn't really likely unless you've been in a front/ front fender hit.
