Well the night after my mx trapped 110 in the 1/4, it has been misfiring at first only slightly/very occasionnally, but 2 nights ago i barely got it home.

Things i have replaced.
Plugs
Wires
cap/rotor
coil

I have tested for spark, fuel, I have checked cam timing(which is perfect) and compression
(164,162,162,165 remember b6t bottom end with b6de head)

I believe it to only be missing on one cylinder which it is weird because sometimes the plug will be soaked with gas and the rest are fine, but sometimes there will be less gas

I believe ive narrowed it down to either the distributor or that fuel injector.

I also havent ruled out a Nasty vaccum leak, because the car will idle on all four for about 10 seconds and then begin to miss and stall.

Headgasket was replaced recently and head was inspected.

Any help is appreciated.
Thanks

if the plug is soaked in gas i would think your not getting a full burn, is it the tip of the plug or the threading that has gas on it?

just the tip in and around the groundstrap and electrode(?)

Im going to swap out the injectors tomarrow to see if thats the issue, I was playing with the wideband today and noticed when it began to misfire it would idle REALLY lean (say 17,18-1) and then stall) So i believe it to be an injector issue or a nasty leak.

ya that would be my guess, u already test the faulty injector? good luck with your problem

running really lean? but gas soaked plug? that's odd.

an ignition miss should read rich on the wideband.

thats why i believe it to be a bad injector/vaccum leak.
Ill be swapping injectors this evening and ill let you guys know how it turns out.

spray some carb cleaner or brake cleaner over the vac lines, if it idles higher you know its a leak. But sounds like an injector, what is your idle speed? I have noticed with the RX7 injectors 1 or 2 sometimes will leak and will flood out the engine... but with my idle at 900-1000 is doesn't try to die, only if I get the injector pulse really close to fully closed down at like 600-700 rpm.
