Acceleration increase

Post by David »

I have been told that Chipping my 1974, V-6 1800 would be a waste of money. I may only gain 5 HP. Is this true and is there any other way of increasing acceleration?

1974
I've been so unsatisfied with my car since I joined mx3.com.
Seeing all the body kits, rims and engine swaps makes me want to spend all my student loans on my car.

Your be better off supergluing 10 kiwis across the boot lid and having
the little buggers flap their stubby wings
Kiwi - Native Bird Of New Zealand, semi-nocturnal, secretive bird
Flightless, though can be found flying firstclass
Poor eyesight, though can spot a good pub at 100yards.

There are two options for significantly increasing acceleration: either swap the engine out for a KLZE or KLDE + turbo, or swap the whole car out for something faster.
