Hey evryone latelt at my dadss dealership a 1993 mazda mx-3 was traded in. Its got a nice set of rims on it, intake, nice sound system, and some type of exhaust but i forget what brand he said but anyways its got 333 346 miles.Alot eh! But the car still runs great and shifts smoothly and i was wondering if should buy it. My dad says i can have it for 600 bucks. Do you think thats a good deal? Its also got the 1.8 v6 in it.

$600 is a decent deal considering the milage is so high.

Think of it this way, if anything major breaks on it you can just scrap it and buy something else without taking a major loss on the car.

Is there anything else wrong with the car besides the high mileage that worries you?? Either way for 600 bucks i would buy it in a second.

Nothing else is wrong with the car that we are aware of yet but if there is are parts fairly expensive or are they cheap?

Parts for these cars are cheap in comparison to some other cars on the roads. Aftermarket parts are more expensive.. but OEM replacement parts are usually cheaper. $600 is a good deal.. I would jump on that in a second.

parts for the gs ARE NOT cheap...

knock sensor = 100 dllrs

wires 60 - 120 dlrs

Shafts are descent around 75 - 100 dllrs

alot of things are special order

HOWEVER these cars are SO SEXY.. get it. They drive well.

You dont really pay much for maintenance IF you do everything correctly and dont street race and drive it hard like i do :P

I am the cursed mx3 :) so its just me . Im sure you will be fine.

thats a steal at that price!

Bah hec, havent you made friends at a mazda dealership yet :) It's a nice thing to have :)

mx3 for 600 isnt bad specially since its running, if the motor went out you could fix and upgrade for more horsepower for about 600 more so sure why not go for it :)

the worst or best can happen is if the engine dies, but that be a bad good thing

the mx-3 in itself is a necessary evil

if a MX-3 popped up in my area for $600 id buy it in a heart beat. Like others have already mentioned if its running and there isnt anything else wrong with it other than high milage, id take it. its a great deal imo

I hope you asked them if they replaced the Altenator, distributor, water pump and CV Axels

These cars can become a money pit at times so be careful with this car

yes, i've had to replace all those you named. I have never loved hated a car so much, i guess it adds personality to it.
