anyone know a toronto area paint shop that can supply blaze red (code SQ) in a spray can?

I just used Meguiar's ColourX to convert blaze orange back to blaze red. But now my bumpers, which were already in bad shape, now stick out like sore thumbs!

mazda's "Blaze red"...

is a pure red....I painted my hood and fenders with 11 cans of primer, paint and clear the other day... The paint was Canadian Tire's motomaster spraypaint...

before you paint your bumper, try spraying some tire foam on it, it will make it shine awsome.

yeh that.. also forgot to mention.. if the paint is ok.. like the color's not faded just reclear it with spray cans.. they usually bring dull paint back as long as you sand a bit of the old clear off...

Yeah.... Tire foam? Are you serious? I have a dull GS rear spoiler, and if what you say is true... would it work on that as well?

Thanks for the tips...I guess I should explain that the bumpers only have about 75% of paint remaining...i.e. white and yellow spots are showing through.

Mayge the tire foam acts like a grease remover. I'll give it a try. Also I checked out Cy's web site. That electrocleaning looks like some wild stuff.

Ok, if you think you may be painting the car at all you better be sure that tire foam doesn't contain silicone. Most of those tire products do. It's a real pain to get that stuff off before painting, and if you dont get every bit of it off your paint will fish-eye and look crappy.

i usually just spray some on to the bumper and rub it in, about once a week, the shine doesnt last very long.

next weekend il take some before and after pics of my bumper.
