well after being given the go ahead to start a WASHINGTON Sector of MX-West, i just wanted to see what everyone else thought. and to see if anyone would be intrested. there will be 3 of us to start. but i know there are alot more out there, and i know they dont all look on the forum everyday, but i figured if i got this up here then we could at least get started.
it probably wont be finalized for several months. im curently working on some vendors in the area to give us discounts on stuff so we dont have to go to Canada to get stuff done (not that we dont like Canada

) . but any imput from the rest of MX-West is greatly appreciated, and even thoes not in MX-West.
Thanks

I think it's cool. You guys have always been a good part of MxWest and have always participated in the events, sometimes even more than us canucks. I just hope that this does not mean that we will see less of you.

Sounds like a great idea. It would be nice for you to have more local events there. I'll try to find time to build the website for your division.

Don't you wish
If you move up here you can. Right now it is just a bunch of Boosted 4cyl guys, we need more 6cyl lovin. What I realized is, my car is the fastest out of Josh, Dan's and Mine, Cause mine is the only one running

Too bad Dan is going for 300whp... and Josh, well my thoughts were in the previous post

I am extremely jealous....
of his car....
sickos....

I'd hate to have to come up there and waste all you guys and make you feel bad, then be voted Pres. as I'm the fastest and most knowledgable and then you'd all quite and I'd be alone.
Guess I'll stay in MOCA since they don't mind my godlike speed. (hope they don't read this...

)

I've started on the site for the Washington Sector. Don't ask me to give you an ETA on completion because that will make something happen to cause me not to finish on time. That always happens.
Have you all figured out who will be Prez and VPs? It's good to have Vp of Events Coordination, VP of Finance, etc. We don't have that in Calgary since no one wants the job. Justin's position is up for grabs.

im thinkin since Clayton is leaving in the fall hes out. and im the one pretty much speerheading this i declaire myself Prez, and probably Dan as VP, if he wants the Job that is. we will prabably open it up for other fellow Mazda guys we will see what happens. no rush on the web site. it will probably be a while before we are able to put alot of time into it. Thanks

ya, In the fall I leave for 2 years, just long enough to get back and have a AWD 2.0L MX-3 waiting for me
But, I think we should be able to get a couple more guys now that I can say, We are based out of Seattle Area, they always gave me weird looks when I said Vancouver, BC....

I'd take VP just cuz lack of someone else. I would want to surrender to Clayton once he came back... I kinda like being a free rider on events. All I want to do is drive... no thinking. I do too much of that at work.

Hmmm are you guys going to have meetings and such in Seattle or a more central point in WA?

all over. But seattle is a better drive for you. You are on the flat. I have to go over the Pass which equal less MPG...

Heck I would join if it was a bit more central in Washington. Seattle is like a four hour drive for me.
