[FS] CorkSport front and rear strut bars

Post by mx3TT »

USED front and rear bars. Ive had these for a long time. They have scrathes on the chrome part but they are AWESOME bars. I havent had an mx-3 in a long time and these have been sitting in my room. Last time i posted these things everyone is always interested. IF you are looking to buy bars, email me at mx3TT @ AIM . com and i will send you a pic and we can talk business. I am in Brewster NY so if anyone wants to pick them up it will prob save a bunch in shipping. You can also reach me at mx3TT on aim if you want. These bars were bought new for about 70 each if i remember correctly. Email me with offer and all that good stuff, thanks guys.

Rather have them collect dust then take 20 a bar. These things work great and even though they are used are worth more then that.

they used to be on cs for 70 a piece you are correct..... i am a little interested I really didn't want to buy used ones but i might be able to clean them up and get them powdercoated... can you email me pics? tdickins78@yahoo.com also how much are you looking for both shipped? I like the general look of them over the normal ones that sell but to be honest the ones by ractive and the ones on ebay work just as well... let me know if you have pics and my offer is $65 shipped cause shipping them shouldn't be more than $15 .... I might be willing to go higher so pm or email me when you get a chance

They still are on Corksports site, listed for $79 each.

I have them myself and noticed a significant difference. Now, I haven't tested the CS bar compared to ractive-style bars, but i would expect the CS bars to perform better, being a thicker, thus beefier and more rigid bar. It's roughly the same thickness but 3x the width.

I dont want to get this thread in to a debate on strut tower bars, but with my experience with them, I highly recommend them.

I noticed a big difference going from stock to the regular ebay variety strut braces. When I went from the generic ones to Corksport, I really could not say I noticed a difference. The CS ones are defintately more solid and constructed better.

Of course, they just look sexier, too. Even used, I would still think $40 apiece for these would be a very fair price. They are not the cheap generics you see on ebay for chump change.

I agree, I was thinking their worth at least $40-$50

Both of the bars, dont know why they sell them with two different colored ends.

This is the chrome part of the front bar. Scratched up but everything should polish out.

The rear bar is in near perfect conition. Polish will have it looking brand new.

I have a couple people throwing offers down so if you are interested PM me quick.

I wonder why CorkSport went up on the price. I got my set for a grand total of 108 back in 2001. and the strut mounts were all black, not those differing shades of blue. what are they thinking???
I'd still buy 'em from you, but I can't right now. :( too many other projects :o
