Has anybody done this before and if yes can they offer any hints or tips or things to watch out for. It seems like a complicated job so doing as much research as possible before tackling it.....
Any advice is greatly appreciated.
cheers Dave.
Also if anybody knows a good parts supplier in the U.K. for mx-3 stuff then please let me know.
Thanks again....

Make sure you get a mazda shop manual and I'd recommend reusing your head bolts if they aren't streched.

Hmm, why reuse the head bolts????
I'd say get a new set just to be on the same side that they aren't stretched. Maybe even head studs instead since they aren't that much more expensive and alot more durable.

thing is at 10$ per bolt it's a lot of $$ just for a hg job. And ARP doesn't make any studs for the k-series. ( I know they was a BB on Probetalk) They didn't kept the measurements, I called them and ask them and they sent me a form to fill for custom studs. and it's NOT anywhere cheap !!

Ok, so if you are not planning on building your motor I can see your point. Also the head gaskets on the MX are not prone to problems anyway. What does Mazda charge for new ones? Anyone know.
