Curious about your opinion...

Post by Tunes67 »

Recently I came up with an idea to do the license plates on my MX's as personalized plates.. Just curious if this would be considered Ricey or Dorky or you folks would think it a nifty thing. I am not sure how it would be perceived and since it was my idea I am a bit biased ;) So here it is..

Was thinking of doing my plates as:

TUNESGS

TUNESRS

With the plate going to the appropriate car. Is this just a bit too far? LOL I cant really decide ;)

LOL HAHAHAHA OHHHHHHHHH! BURN! Both of my vehicles have manual trannys. I never want to go back to a automatic. I think that vanity plates are sometimes cool but some are just stupid.

Funny story:
A guy had a dealer tag on his car at our last dyno night. I asked someone...hasn't he had that car a while, why does he have a dealer tag on it. the guys said, he is waiting for his vanity plate to come in. Oh Ok I say. Then he says, Yeah its gonna say I2Gay. HAHAHAHAHAHA!

Oh I dont know.. Kinda hard to say that a GS with only 92k miles isnt worth $225.. I'll spend less than $1500 total on it to make it a MTX and get it painted.. so I think that will be worth it ;)

Dont sweat it man.. I know this is all in fun :2thumbsup: The GS is kinda funny really.. When I went to look at the car.. all I knew about it was that it was a GS and had a "Small" dent on the drivers fender  and that had around 90k miles. I even told my buddy that went with me.. "Please god.. dont let it be an ATX.. and if you have to make it a ATX.. Please.. let it be some other color than Red" LOL (I tend to get a lot of tickets in red cars so its not my color of choice LOL)

The only thing about vanity plates is it makes your car easier to identify/remember...

not that you should have to worry about that

Good idea John.. I like that.. This is another of those things thats a ways down the list.. but I think it would be kinda cool.. I have even thought of matching paint jobs for the cars and matching rims.. Dang these cars are sucking money out of my wallet faster than if I was a polygamist with 20 wives. But it sure is fun :D
