A bit too broad of a question because there is usually no one clear cut answer to this. Each part or item that is trying to be sourced may or may not be available on ebay. That said it does not necessarily carry that just becasue it may be cheaper that it may not always be the prudent way to go. After you've searched through the various threads on specific parts you'll have a better frame of reference as to specific items and brand names your seeking. At that time it would be advantageous to solicit members opinions on that specific part - provided that that particular query has not already been dealt with in past threads. There are tons of past threads that deal with Cats, mufflers, bulbs, cleaners, brake pads, rotors, steering wheels, seats, gauge and HVAC accessories, tires, rims, springs, struts, filters, CAI's, fluids, sensors, plugs, wires, upgades, modifications, bumpers, spoilers, sideskirts, etc, etc, etc. These have all been covered and are all available to you if your willing to put in the time to do the research. Those unique queries that haven't been covered in the past will most certainly be reponded to.

I hate most ebay sellers. They will post a very cheap price on their item and rip you off on shipping. Sometimes you pay more for an ebay item than getting it form store. They will tell you that item can be returned, replaced or exchanged but you have to pay for their overpriced shipping. Stupid eh?

When you buy stuff make sure its way cheaper than store price. Thank god we have chinese merchants here who sell high quality auto parts for really good price all items are negotiable + you they dont make you pay tax. :D

Never buy those chips that claims to increase HP!

I take it you don't sell items on Ebay. Sellers do that to save on Ebay fees. Cause the Auction fees are charged on the final auction price, not shipping. When you get charged $100's of dollars on Ebay fees each month, you will understand.

I buy and sell on ebay. The fees suck cuz you pay them whether you sell or not which is a scam if you ask me ,although they offer to refund the insertion fee if you relist and then sell... anyways. But then again ebay is very handy and bargains are to be had. I've just purchased a full set of discs, solid rear, vented front made by Delphi, all pads and delivery for £87 GBP which is about 150USD. Not bad I think.
There's some good deals on wheels and breaking for spares and the odd disty and clutch etc.
Also theres this brakeline kit. What do you guys think?

And don't forget the camber bolts. There about $22 shipped, but the shops will charge you up to $100. Just for 4 bolts, what a rip-off. But even if you have stock wheels, those are vital.
