sway bar????

Post by wvurubberducky »

I have added new struts, springs, brakes, etc to my car in the last two weeks with only a few more things to add to finish it. anyways i think it is the sway bar link that is broken on my front drivers side, there is a bar with a pivot on it that is broken and kinda rattles/vibrates when i make a left turn and the car weight shifts to the driver side. i am wondering if you guys could tell me what this bar is called and how much one will prob run me and if they are hard to replace.

Well if the sway bar is broken, then it will be a bit of a pita to replace. If it's just the end links, it shouldn't take but 15 minutes.

To replace the front swaybar, you need to drop the entire front subframe which is connected to the control arms, rear engine mount, the engine subframe, and steering rack....yeah, have fun with that.
