I know wot your gonna say, "blown head gasket."
But I've noticed other people's cars start up OK after overheating, even with serious head gasket problems.

I checked the spark plugs, they are black and burned out, any chance replacing them will at least get it started for now, or am I not gonna be that lucky?

did you check water for oil or oil for water? that is a sign of a blown head. Did it blow white smoke?
