Alright, I need the name of a part. The part # is 21014 and it's the unit the oil filter attatches to on the block.Has two coolant lines as well in/out.

May not be the part number but casting number for the unit ?
Also this is where the oil sensor plugs directly into.

I need to get a new one but just don't know what the hell to call it O.o
The faster the response the better.

Sounds to me like an Oil Cooler.

That's it Perry. Page D2-007 of On-Line Shop Manual. The on-line manual is your friend, it may save many queries.

Decided to take some pics. where the finger points is where it's all jacked up and won't seal properly.

One thing I noticed about it is the massive nut, Is that nut holding 2 pieces together or is that entire unit one thing ?

it should be just one piece, also the short name or what some people call it is oil filter adapter, is your leaking, when i done my ZE swap mine was leaking so i replaced the gasket and then everything was fine.

Well it leaks but not at the block mount. It has damage to the area around the oil filter gasket set area, refer to pictures and pointing.

Its the Oil cooler.

I know on the BP that the nut is a 24mm. It should be holding the oil cooler to the bracket. The Size may be different on the k8 though.

Remove the nut, the oil cooler should come off, and will let you replace it if you'd like to.

ok lets start from the basics. your car is a k8. the k8 is the v6 mx-3 engine. the bp is a 1.8l 4 cyl engine which can be swapped into the 4 cyl mx-3. as he was saying the nut may be a different size from the bp. phone mazda and find out how much it costs. you already know the name, it is a oil cooler. antifreeze goes in and cools off the oil. hence the two hose attachements. the online shop manual found on the mx-3.com homepage is very usefull. it would answer almost all your questions you have asked before. it would also tell you the nut size and how to remove it, install it, etc. read this: http://www.mx-3.com/phpbb2/viewtopic.php?t=3418&start=0

Slim, that is an oil filter relocation kit, not a replacement oil cooler. (If I see the pic correctly) It won't help solve his problem and it will only complicate what he is already having trouble with.

Read the manual like already suggested and get a new part from Mazda. oh, and make sure that when you place a new oil filter on the car to wet the black ring around the top of the new filter with some clean oil. It will help create a good seal between the oil cooler and the filter.
