I ordered this clutch today!

I Decided to go with a clutch I have heard some very good reviews of: SPEC Clutch.

This is their Stage II clutch.

It should take a few days to get it.

It was a bit more expensive than a stock replacement- but I really felt that it was important to go with a higher rated clutch than the stock MX-3 tranny required since its holding the BP power now instead of the SOHC.

Anyway- Pictures on the way once I get it!

how much was it?

It was $278 and $20 for shipping.

The Stage 1 is $219

I think they go all the way up to a stage 4 for the 4-cyl MX-3 and up to Stage 5 for the v6.

is that cdn or us? and is there lots of difference between the stages. like im running all stock right now but i NEED a new clutch so would it be worth it to get a near stock replacement for now or go and buy a higher stage SPEC and then use it till i do engine / tranny's upgrades which could be within about a year.

I have a Spec Stage IV in my PGT and I've been very happy with it. It will handle everything I throw at it.

Looks nice... my Spec came as a 6-puck copper disc. It was supposed to be a Stage II.

Wow that was a great price.

I ordered mine straight from SPEC.. I just called them up and said here is what I want.

Probably not the best thing to do (as far as getting the best price)... but I still dont think thats a bad price for a good clutch.

How is it? Big difference? My pedal feel wasn't that much worse. Engagement is good (a little chatter on hills) and holding power has been excellent for me.

Mine grabs like a beast. It is more of an On/Off no inbetween thing until I figured it out. Awesome clutch :)
