Head bolt removing socket...I know, I know, I am a smart A$$. Its a 12 point 12mm socket. Most sockets are 6 point...meaning that they have 6 grabbing surfaces, so a 12point will have 12.
It Looka Like Dis:
http://www.partsamerica.com That means that Advance has it...probably not on the shelves but they have it.

Um...there is no need to be rude to someone trying to help you.
If your bolt looks anything like this then its a 12 point 12mm bolt. I can't tell because that picture is hard to see. That is one dirty ZE. How many miles were on that thing? If memeory serves me, you have to remove the cams to get to all the head bolts anyway.

Hector, Hector, Hector. Read what CCreach and Sphynx said...1/2" drive.....12mm deep socket........12sides or edges inside that 12mm socket. Your 12mm is too small because it has six sides or edges to it.
Your not listening Hector. Perhaps because it was free and unless this engine hasn't been f*cked with you should be fine with what the guys told you.

Then it's obvious that this is a pretty high mileage ZE and that someone already has been into the engine and didn't use the correct head bolts...good luck Hector!!

Hector,
Take your 12mm socket and look down the hole.
Count how many points or sides you see, if you only count 6 than you have the wrong socket.
if you send me your email i can take a pic of the 2 for you.
