Post by smoat »

I am quite mechanicly inclined but replacing the w/ pump looks a real b---- compared to my se-r sentra. Also how about the starter is also pain.

I done the waterpump and timeing belt in under 1 1/2 hours in the side of the road. A little less of a lift in a shop.

The starter is about a 1/2 hr 45min job.

Replacing the starter is the first mechanical thing i have ever done in a car, other than adding fluids... I spent about 2 hours on it, but a good portion of that was exploring. I could have done it in under an hour if i didnt mess around so much...

I was going to try my waterpump and timing belt, but i was told by too many people that it would take me days, all the shops i asked about it claimed 2-4 hours...
