ENGINE HELP

I have a V6 and some mornings when i start her up i hear a sqeel from the engine for about 5 - 10 seconds then goes away......Is it the fan belt or another type of belt.....or Something i just need to lubriacte. THanks

could be your fan belt, get it ckecked out at a small shop or something..You can also check your belts to see if they are "Glazed" on the inside (which means hey are smooth and shiny) this will cause then to squeek...

I get that now and then also. I believe it's just a lose belt that either needs to be tightened or like the previous poster said, could be glazed and might need to be replaced.

I get it on cold damp mornings and have with a few cars. Rev a bit and it should dissapear as belt may slip on some drives if cold/damp. If doesnt dissappear may need a change but otherwise...
