I still play a few Aqualung tracks once in awhile. Saw them in concert long long ago and far far away. Ian Anderson was something of a groundbreaker in Rock music back in the day.

I'm probably one of the youngest people to actually rotate him in my CD player. I love
Thick as a Brick,
Bouree,
Minstrel in the Gallery... and of course
Songs from the Wood.

what type of music do they play?
Closest description would be medieval rock n roll. Listen to it and you'll know what I mean.
Fry, do yourself a favour and listen to a few of what MX3newbie77 said. Go for the earlier stuff say pre 1990. They won a grammy for best band heavy metal in about 87 and they slipped a bit after that imo.

Funny thing about that grammy.. Even Tull thought they didnt deserve it and they handed it over to Metallica if I remember correctly

Was a eyeopener for the Grammy's where heavy metal is concerned.

1st 3 albums are great! Not a huge Tull fan or anything but I can appreciate talent when I hear it. Ian Anderson is a god among men. Truly an inavator and very ground breaking.
