From the mainpage of mx-3.com there is a link on the lefthand side to the Online Shop Manual. Start there, I used it often before I got my Chilton's and still do if my Chilton's doesn't cover the topic well enough for my thick skull.
It's a pretty straightforward operation, but there's one or two sticking points you may run into. The first is after you've pulled off the wheel. There's a large nut on the end of the axle that holds the hub to it. There's a notch in the nut that should have the axle crimped into it to secure it. You have to pry that out of the notch before you try to remove the nut. The hard part is the nut itself. It takes I think a 25 or 27mm, not really sure. I just know it's larger than any socket I had. And it's torqued down hella tight, I've heard of people breaking breaker bars trying to get it off but that's the usual tool to use.
The second thing you may or may not have happen is getting the axle stuck in the transmission. Sometimes it doesn't want to come out. If you have this happen, take out the other axle first. Then look into the housing and you should be able to see the axle on the other side. Keeping in mind not to damage any of the internals, hammer the axle out from the inside.
