anyone with a bpt or KL-ZE or even a B6T swap in there MX-3 want to come down to Simcoe, Ontario and beat a Honda Civic with a H22 prelude engine in it I'll give you $50.00 cash! he keeps annoying the hell outta me and thinks Mazda's are s--- so yea I want someone to make him look dumb ... at the track! :wink:

would be an even match in a civic.
1994, GS, KLZE, 67mm TB, LightFlywheel, Centreforce Stg 3 Clutch, CAI, KL36 ecu, B&M shortshifter, Solid poly mounts, lightweight Aluminum Cross memeber, 2.5 high flo cat, 2.5 all back, Tanabe Exhaust, optima battery, ZX2 HD tokicos, eibach prokit, black altezzas.....

I've beat one once....but i've also gotten beat by these stripped down Civics with "Type R" engines (i have no idea what engine they were running, that's all they said) that were running low 13's

they are running a TYPE R engine....lol....the intera TYPE R engine to be exact lighter then the H22 but just as much power

Than whats the point of putting in an H22?

more power over the stock civic engine and its easier to source an H22 then it is a type r engine

Yea I only have the 1.6 dohc in my MX-3 and this guy is really annoying... and he called Mad_Medeiros's car s--- too witch he sold today haha...

well to tell you guys the thruth, one of my good buddies just picked up a 93 coupe civic si, all pimped out with an h22a7, with header and some other work,

let me tell you.. this car put me right into the seat.... and was spinning all through 2nd right till 8000 rpm.... I don't even know how a KLZE would touch it.

It's lik throwing a motor into a tin can, it does't take much to make those things go, the lack or torque barely affects them.

Yeah, but the issue with honda engines is that they generally may their peak power somewhere above 6500 RPM, and like Mad_Medeiros said, they can spin all the way up to 8 or 9k rpm. One guy i met had an all motor 220whp crx that would spin to 10k without batting an eye. A KLZE should be able to give it a good run.
