ok heres the deal i got a 96 GS so its obd2 now i was going to put a 96-2001 626 motor tranny and ecu this way the swap would be simple and easy now i have come to realize that i would so much rather have a ZE cuz more power so i need to know if this will work i would get a j-spec KLZE a rebuilt probe tranny and a 96-01 626 ecu.
now i need to know if this will all work out for me because the place where i would be getting the motor said that this will all work fine also the guys on probetalk do ze swaps on there obd2's so i just need someone to verify that this will work or what else i need to do to make it work i know i will need to swap my K8 disty and alternator so please help me out

An obd2 klde ecu will not plug in to your harness. Why would you want a rebuilt probe tranny? Our tranny is the exact same as the probe's (and the same as a klze tranny). Everyone seems to have trouble getting the ze to run right on obd2. You could look into megasquirt as there is ppl on probetalk getting rid of their ze ecu and using this so it must be pretty good. Search on probetalk there is all kinds of info on that.

are you sure that a 626 obd2 ecu wont plug into my harness. so a megasquirt will actually replace my ecu. i am so confused at this moment i wish i would just have a 95 because this obd2 crap is nothing but trouble
