5 hours?! wow that is awesome... i thought our 94/95 mx-3s were a lot harder to do swaps on even with the b6t cause of wiring and whatnot...

YA..I talked to JWMotorsports and he gave me a few tips. All I need is that damn FMIC and to get my hoodscoop installed and it'll be nice. There are some wiring things and once I get it all done I will try and post them all so that you guys can have the info.

The first time we got it in...things looked like they would be super easy! HA..NO...after we pull the motor and put it back in...we figured some things out. This is not as simple as we first thought. The harness are a not quite long enough, most of the sensors don't just swap, the whole thing is becoming a big a-- pain. I am now trying to rig my IM to fit on the motor and hopefully this stuff will get easier. It seems everyday like I hit a bigger damn snag!! Who all has swapped the B6T into a 94-95 USSPEC DOHC? The damn motor doesn't even bolt ot the tranny like the other one. Hopefully this gets done soon...and I don't jsut kick the piss out of my car...

So...now things are getting better and better. Car started up today!! No exhaust of the turbo makes it FRICKIN' LOUD. I still gotta mess with the TPS and get a different radiator. It's killing me..hopefully I can get this car running by the end of the week!!

Just when I thought it was all good...fired the motor 2day...SMOKES LIKE YOU WOUlD NOT BELIEVE! Looks like piston rings are blown and possibly some other stuff. Gonan call CorkSport Monday and pray for a different motor....

Well...I thought so maybe also...but it has a brand new center cartridge and new actuator. I am just trying to hold out until tomorrow so I can call and see what happens....not good times.
