Well since I cant find an appropriate section to put this under, maybe this will work...
My girls got a 94 accord Ex, and for some odd reason her heater doesnt work.
Ive replaced the heater blower motor, and she doesnt have a heater core leak. I also have replacement HVAC controls headed to me as well.
The air temp that comes out when its on heat is about room temp, not hot, but not cold. Anyone have any suggestions?
I saw this on ebay (Sorry, I dont know too much about these H cars)

was curious if thats built into the HVAC controls. I dont want to purchase this and its already in the HVACs. Her vents seem.. some stay closed some open, thats why I was thinking of purchasing this as well.
Any suggestions?
Do NOT say get a different car, or make any Degrading remarks about this car, Im going to give her my RS once my GS is on the road, and possibly a Mazda 6 in the near future.
Need help on.. shall I say it, a HONDA!
check to see if the thermostat is functioning properly.
I had the same problem with mine on an old Mitsubishi some years back.
Found out that the thermostat was open all the time, and that way the heater didnt warm up properly.
might not be the problem, but it`s a pretty cheap thing to check out.

Have you checked to see if the passages are blocked at all? Assuming she is the second owner.. was the first owner a smoker? Tar & nicotine love to stick to everything.. then they attract dust and other crap which could be blocking some of your passages.
Another thought.. though this one is unlikely.. I worked on a friends older honda civic (1980 I believe) and we replaced the heater core on this car, when we yanked the core out we found the compartment packed with pine needles and all kinds of crap.. heater worked pretty dang good after we cleaned all that stuff out.
When you have the controls in the max heat position.. (this will suck) check to make sure the flapper door between the heater core and interior box (you will have to remove the box to check this.. hence why it will suck) is opening all the way. Hope this helps..

theres a temperature control valve that is inline with the heater hoses. Depending on whether or not your hvac panel is vaccume controlled or not, you might be able to identify it that way. Its either a vaccume line or a small lever controlled valve inline with the heater hoses. It is possible that when you select hot on your hvac pannel that the valve is staying on cold, in which case you can replace or just splice something in, which will cause it to be full on hot as long as the heater is selected on the hvac. I had an 83 Accord with this problem, and I just spliced in some small pieces of conduit into the coolant lines where the valve was and plugged the vacume line. Then I proceeded to throw the old valve in the trash! I'm not sure how to test the actual valve, I just removed mine to see if that was the problem, and it happened to work. If you need a more technical description PM me, good luck
