Irritating search....

well i began searching for parts to swap from auto to 5 speed today. it hasnt been a good start lol. i called around to lord knows how many scrap yards looking for 5 speed mx3's, and each place was increasingly frustrating. some places had no idea what they were talking about, telling me that id need a new engine that was made for the manual tranny, a new dash, wiring harness, gas tank....i just told them i dont think you know what your talking about and called the next place. the last place i called his exact words were "i dont know why in the world anyone would ever waste their time and money converting a car to 5 speed, esspecially a car that old(my car is a 1994 btw lol)" im in the parts business, and if i ever talked to my customers the way they did to me, id be fired, and i would surely deserve to be.
can anybody recommend some auto wreckers in the toronto, barrie area that may have some 5 speed mx3s and wont bite my head off lol

try http://www.car-part.com just search for trannies in ontario it'll give you all the wreckers that have them and list them

too bad you're not closer, theres one near me w/ only 50K on it in a junkyard...No motor though
