Im going to by my BPT on saturday. before hand I wanted to pick up some tips on what to look for. and also how to make sure its a bpt (gtr or gtx) and not something else. any and all tips would be very useful thanks.

If your buying used.. do a compression check BEFORE you buy it. You might even want to yank the valve cover if the seller will let you and look for excessive cam wear. I would also look at the distributor and check for play in the shaft. Trust me.. I sure wish I had been this thorough when I bought my MX-3.. then again.. if I had.. I probably wouldnt have it Sometimes even mistakes can be a good thing I suppose
