Im not lowering the car at all, it will stay stock height at least for a while.

since its already all done, put together, and aligned, i don't think your comments are very helpful at this point in the game. We'll see how long they last, ANYTHING is better than the shocks i had in there (OEM with 96k miles on them=totally dead) and i figure the GR2's were a good choice since they are better than OEM, and cheaper.

Yeah you can say the GR2's can't handle the GC springs, but whats done is done and I will enjoy it as is until such time something wears out and needs replacing. Such is life. It won't see much "offroad" and what "offroad" it does see will be on the beach or on dirt roads, no rockclimbing or anything haha, so i figure relatively harmless. As of now I have no plans of running rally with the SCCA, but I am going to look into rallycross this summer.

GR-2's are not better then stock they are a stock replacement which means they are the same quality as the stock struts and they do wear out fast....

ok ok you guys, sorry if i seemed like an idiot, but i already had bought and installed the GR-2's, so i cant return em, so im gonna use them until this summer, and then put on thhe ford racing ZX2 shocks. Yeah i know i should have done this from the get-go, but i had already made the leap before i looked where i was leaping to.

Lesson learned  , and yes it feels like i could use a little stiffer of a shock, but offroad they still work just fine, its just going over a speedbump at a decent speed will cause me to hit the bumpstop in front when the car nosedives.

Im gonna buy the ZX2 shocks, have em shipped to where i'll be this summer, then put em on. Since I have done the suspension just recently, i know it will only take me like 2 hours max to switch everything over.

Here are pictures of me rallying here locally in central cali, sorry no action shots, but I had to stop the car to get out and take the pic haha. Also I will have my rally lights mounted this week, i will post up a pic when i do. GO HERE>> http://www.silverbulletracing.com/SeeCynFeb162005.htm

And a little photoCHOP action: (Rallisport Challenge for xbox if you dont recognize the overlay)
