Average compression for a KL-ZE?

Post by bubbaflaat »

Anyone know how many PSI of compression the KL-ZE is sappose to have? I average on mine about 200-210PSI. I think that is right where it should be.

Good to know, thanks! LOL my K8 had 30, 50, and 70 PSI of compression on the front bank of cylinders! Thanks when I decided to go for the KL-ZE!

It depends on the age of the engine. I think they came with 180 or 190 form the factory I can't remember which. As carbon builds up that number goes up. I don't think 180-190 is really anything to worry about. Unless it is an older engine and you suspect a problem.
