Black Interior

Post by Gro Harlem »

I got lucky at the junkyard again this weekend & found a pretty mint 93 SE there. Too bad the leather front seats were already pulled but the rear seat & the panels were all intact & in great shape.

Here is the stuff installed:

Here's a close up of the leather cushion. the seatback isn't leather though :(

And for those ppl asking about headliner. I put some black fabric on mine quite awhile ago:

yeah seriously, lol

Awesome interior though, Gro. I plan on doing the same to my car if I ever get off my lazy a--. I need to reupholster my headliner as well.. the previous owner was a smoker so the current headliner looks awful.

Btw, this is a bit off topic but, didn't you do the passive to manual seatbelt conversion? If so, mind posting what I'd need and how to do it (if it's not too much to ask)?

I will also add that there is a black 95 RS in a Pull -a- Part (I think the name is kinda suggestive.. :P ) But the interior was complete minus the center console and front seats.. door panels were nice as was the carpet and rear seats. I dont have to cash currently to scavenge them. But if someone is interested it wouldnt take any real effort for me to get them. Assuming they are still there. Was a week ago I saw the car last. Let me know if anyone wants me to follow up on this.

yes, they appear to be chrome... probably taken from a miata... i think barry (custommx3) has a thread in the FAQ section in which he posted a link to a miata website in which you can purchase a pair just like 'em... now, i'm not sure about this, but chrome door handles may have also come with the very rare "Special Edition" MX-3's...
